Third Moroccan Migrant’s Body Found on Ceuta Beach in One Week

The Civil Guard found the lifeless body of a young Moroccan on the San Amaro beach in Ceuta on Saturday. This is the third body discovered this week on the coast of the autonomous city, after those recovered on Wednesday and Friday.
The lifeless body of the Moroccan, a candidate for immigration, was found at sea in the afternoon on Saturday by the agents in charge of beach surveillance and rescue, who fished it out and brought it back to shore. The Moroccan, aged between 30 and 35, was wearing a life jacket, reports 20minutos.
The Civil Guard transferred the body to the hospital for an autopsy and cordoned off the area which is reserved for swimming. According to the first hypotheses, the man’s boat would have capsized as he tried to leave the city or access it.
This is the third Moroccan whose body has been found this week in Ceuta. On Wednesday, a 37-year-old Moroccan was found dead on the Almadraba beach and the body of another young Moroccan was discovered on Friday on the Chorrillo beach, in the southern bay of the city.
