Second Moroccan Body Recovered from Sea Near Ceuta This Week

The lifeless body of a Moroccan was recovered at sea by the Civil Guard in Ceuta. This is the second body found this week.
The body, which was floating on the surface of the water, was recovered by two Benemérita boats, which then took it to the maritime service base, located in the marina. The man, of Moroccan origin, was wearing swimming trunks and a vest. According to initial observations, he had been dead for a few hours, reports El Faro de Ceuta.

This is the second lifeless body that has been fished out of the sea this week. It adds to the long list of Moroccans who have lost their lives at sea while trying to reach Ceuta by swimming from Morocco.
The victim was carrying an ID card on him, which allowed him to be identified. He was a young man from the city of Tetouan. His family was informed of his death, before he was buried in the Sidi Embarek cemetery in Ceuta.
