Civil Guard agents found the lifeless body of a man who may be of Moroccan origin on the beach of El Chorrillo, in Sebta, on Wednesday.
The body of the victim, "of Moroccan appearance", was found by the agents after receiving the notice from the beach surveillance services. The body showed no signs of decomposition, which suggests that the man did not spend much time in the water before dying, say sources from the armed institute at Ceuta Televisión.
According to the first hypotheses, it would be a Moroccan who tried to enter Ceuta illegally, given the proximity of El Chorrillo to the border perimeter.
