Barcelona Wonderkid Lamine Yamal Dropped from Spain U-17 Squad for Disciplinary Reasons

Lamine Yamal is not on the list of twenty players selected by the coach of the Spanish U-17 team, Julen Guerrero, for the matches of the Elite Round of the European Championship in this category. The player of Moroccan origin has been dropped for an act of indiscipline.
The misconduct in question occurred during the last concentration of the under-17 (U-17) team in the Algarve. For this behavioral deviation, Lamine Yamal, 15 years old, nicknamed the "little Messi" at the Barça youth academy due to his performances comparable to those of Argentine striker Léo Messi, will not play the matches of the Elite Round of the European Championship, reports AS.
The Spanish Football Federation has summoned Barcelona, which after studying the facts, will also sanction the player. Lamine Yamal has been in the news in recent days after his decision to choose Portuguese Jorge Mendes as his new representative. The player of Moroccan and Equatorial Guinean origin can still change national teams. He is considering joining the Moroccan U-17 team.
