Barcelona’s Rising Star Abde Ez Fades from Spotlight Under Xavi

The Moroccan jewel of FC Barcelona, Abde Ez, is less and less talked about. His coach, Xavi Hernandez, who revealed him, no longer calls on him since the arrival of new recruits in the winter.
Upon his arrival at the head of the Barça team, Xavi Hernandez called on Ez Abde who was playing for Barça B. The young Moroccan player quickly gained the confidence of the coach who made him a starter for several important matches. His performances aroused the interest of the Spanish national team which managed to have him, after he obtained Spanish nationality and turned his back on Morocco which had called him up for the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

But today, Abde Ez is a shadow of himself. After the arrival of Adama, Ferran, Auba, and the good form of Ousmane Dembélé, he is less and less called upon by Xavi, to the point that he has been relegated to the B team.
The Moroccan jewel of FC Barcelona is having a strange season. But his entourage thinks that if he does not give up and maintains his level, he could be loaned out next year to a La Liga team. Failing that, his name will be forgotten like so many other players.
