Abde’s contract runs until June 2024 and the Moroccan could be a key player for Xavi, who will need a talent like him on the right side to strengthen Barça’s attack. Abde scored his first goal with the first team on October 30 in the match against Alavés (1-1). He scored his only Liga goal in the match in Pamplona against Osasuna (2-2) on December 12.
Abde Ez, aware of his importance in the Barcelona squad, gave up in January to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco. In recognition of this gesture, the technical staff should renew their trust in him for next season.
