Barcelona’s Moroccan Talents Ezzalzouli and Riad Included in Xavi’s Preseason Squad
At FC Barcelona, two Moroccan prodigies, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli and Chadi Riad, are currently benefiting from the trust of coach Xavi for the preparation of the next season, which starts in August.
While many sources have announced his departure from the club this summer, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli will indeed be present in the Catalan group for the club’s pre-season matches. The young Moroccan, who has shown his talents in his rare appearances last season, is clearly part of Xavi’s choices, who has called him up for training sessions.
As for Chadi Riad, who has just extended his contract until 2024 with Barça’s reserve team, he has also been retained by the Catalan coach to participate in the club’s summer tour, and the next season. Playing as a central defender, the Moroccan has proven himself at La Masia before joining FC Barcelona B definitively a few days ago.
