Argentina’s Futsal Team Arrives in Morocco for Two-Match Series Against Atlas Lions

The Argentine national futsal team arrived in Morocco on Sunday where it will face the Atlas Lions on April 7 and 8 in Rabat.
The delegation, led by coach Matías Lucuix, made a stopover in Madrid before joining Morocco where it will play two matches with the Moroccan national team, on April 7 and 8 at 10 pm (local time), at the Arena Stadium of the Prince Moulay Abdallah Sports Complex in Rabat.
The Argentine team had already visited Morocco in March last year, as it was preparing for the World Cup in Lithuania, recalls AFA, specifying that the matches scheduled for March 6 and 8 could not take place due to a player testing positive for Covid-19.

Argentina has already won the world champion title. As for the Moroccan team, it is the champion of the last edition of the 2020 African Nations Cup and has played in the World Cup where it beat Venezuela in the round of 16 before losing to Brazil in the quarterfinals (1-0).
