Morocco Stuns World Futsal Powerhouse Argentina in Friendly Match

The Moroccan futsal team beat its Argentine counterpart in a friendly match that took place at the Arena stadium of the Moulay Abdallah complex in Rabat.
Even though it was just a friendly match, being able to dispose of a team sitting at the top of the world like Argentina is a consecration for the Atlas Lions of futsal who have an impressive record to which is added their victory against the world vice-champions (4-3).
Morocco won the last edition of the 2020 Africa Cup of Nations and was noticed at the 2021 World Cup in Lithuania by beating Venezuela in the round of 16 before Brazil came to stop them in the quarterfinals (1-0).
The second match between Morocco and Argentina is scheduled for this Friday evening at 9pm GMT at the covered hall of the Moulay Abdallah complex.
