Morocco and Argentina in Talks for Pre-World Cup Friendly Match

Morocco could play a friendly match against the Argentine team as part of the preparations for the next 2022 World Cup.
According to some sources, the Argentine Football Federation could request its Moroccan counterpart for a friendly match with the Atlas Lions in June.
To support their arguments, the sources recalled the Albicelestes’ preparation schedule, which would only have one match to play in June. Their match against Brazil in Australia has been canceled and the matches against Israel and South Korea are still at the rumor stage, they point out. The team should therefore only play the match against Italy on June 1 at Wembley.
So, in order to fine-tune their preparation and take advantage of the international break, Argentina could request another friendly match. The country could turn to an African team, particularly Morocco, as European countries are engaged in the Nations League. For now, nothing is official.
