US Men’s National Team Dominates Morocco 3-0 in Cincinnati Friendly
The much-anticipated friendly match between Morocco and the United States took place on Wednesday evening at the TQL Stadium in Cincinnati and resulted in a convincing 3-0 victory for the American team.
A big disappointment for the Moroccan national football team, which lost to its American counterpart with a score of 3 goals to 0 (half-time 0-2), Wednesday in a friendly match at the TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, United States. Despite the determination displayed by Vahid Halilhodzic’s men, they were unable to overcome a determined, efficient and very organized American team.
The goals of the match were scored by Aaronson Brenden in the 26th minute, Tim Weah in the 32nd minute and Haji Wright in the 64th minute. Morocco had the opportunity to reduce the score through a penalty missed by Selim Amallah in the 76th minute.
This match is part of the program developed by the FRMF as part of the preparations for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. It also allows the technical staff to assess the level of the players before the start of the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. The Atlas Lions will have to face South Africa on June 9 in Rabat, and Liberia on June 13 in Casablanca.
