Morocco Eyes Friendly Match with Peru in World Cup Preparation

In addition to Brazil or France, Morocco could face another country as part of the preparations for the next World Cup to be held in Qatar.
It is the local media Lìbero that reported on ongoing negotiations for the organization of a friendly match between Morocco and Peru. This match, which will be played as part of the preparations for the 2022 World Cup, will be held in Spain, more precisely in Barcelona.
According to the media’s details, the match should be played before the playoff that pits Peru against the winner of the Australia-United Arab Emirates match, in June. It should be recalled that Morocco could, before the World Cup, face Brazil and France in friendly matches. The negotiations would already be well advanced.
As part of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, Morocco is placed in Group F with Belgium, Croatia and Canada.
