Morocco to Face Paraguay in World Cup Warm-Up Match in Seville
As part of the preparations for the final phase of the football World Cup, scheduled for next November in Qatar, Morocco will face Paraguay in a friendly during the next FIFA international break.
It will be a second friendly match against another South American team, after Chile, before the start of the competition on November 21. The announcement was made on Wednesday by the Paraguayan Football Association (APF), stating that the match is scheduled for September 27 in Seville.
Absent from the World Cup, Paraguay will take advantage of this match to test new players who will form the basis of a brand new generation of players, the same source points out.
For Morocco, this match will serve as a final gauge against a reputed formidable nation, with a rigorous defense, before departing for Qatar. A real test for the national team, which will face Belgium, Croatia and Canada in the group stage of the competition.
