Morocco Dominates Somalia 16-0 in Arab Futsal Cup Blowout

The Somali futsal team was crushed by Morocco on Tuesday with a score of 16-0 in the second round of the Arab Futsal Cup taking place in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
It was a real goal festival that the Moroccan futsal team gave to the spectators on Tuesday. Morocco has never scored so many goals in an international futsal competition. The score was 5-0 at the end of the first half. But on their return from the locker room, the Atlas Lions increased the score against a bewildered Somali team.
Morocco just recorded its second victory. Before Somalia, it had beaten Kuwait in the first round. Somalia, for its part, has had two matches and two defeats. The first, at the opening of the tournament. It was against Mauritania and the score was 8-1. Morocco is part of group A which includes Mauritania, Somalia and Kuwait. Thanks to their performance, the Moroccans have a considerable advantage that sends them to the quarter-finals.
The Arab Futsal Cup is organized by the Union of Arab Football Associations and the Saudi Football Federation. It started on June 20 and will end on the 28th. Morocco is the country that lifted the trophy at the last edition organized in Egypt. A strong pressure on the shoulders of Hicham Dguig’s men.
