Morocco Advances to Arab Futsal Cup Final with 5-2 Victory over Egypt
The Moroccan futsal national team achieved the feat against Egypt (5-2) on Sunday by qualifying for the final of the Arab Cup. Morocco is one step away from keeping its champion title.
A flawless run for the Atlas Lions of futsal who, since the start of the competition, have confirmed their dominance in the discipline at each match. The Moroccan players qualified for the final of the Arab Futsal Cup, after their big win over the Egyptian Pharaohs with a score of 5 to 2.
Morocco, which is in the world’s Top 10, will know its opponent after the match between Iraq and Kuwait. Recall that the Moroccan national team had beaten Kuwait (6-4) in the group stage and then Somalia (16-0), before overcoming Mauritania (13-0). They secured their ticket for the semi-finals after their victory against Libya (3-0).
