Algerian supporter arrested in Morocco: what we know about his transfer to Rabat
New development in the case of the Algerian supporter arrested for indecent act. Arrested on Thursday in Casablanca, the young man was transferred this Friday to Rabat for the needs of the investigation.
According to police sources, this transfer is justified by issues of jurisdictional competence, as the alleged acts took place in the capital. The defendant had sparked a wave of outrage on social media after the release of a video showing him urinating in the stands of the Prince Moulay El Hassan stadium, while boasting about his gesture.
The incident occurred on the sidelines of the round of 16 of the 2025 AFCON match between Algeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The supporter will now have to answer for his actions before the courts.
