Algerian Border Guards Seize 85 kg of Moroccan Cannabis in Major Drug Bust

Elements of the Border Guard Group (GGF) seized 85 kg of kif introduced from Morocco at the border at the end of the week.
According to the Quotidien d’Oran, the vigilance of the elements of the National Ports Agency thwarted its transport to the interior of the country. This large quantity of kif was probably abandoned by the traffickers as the border guards approached, it is specified.
In addition, an investigation has been opened by the gendarmerie elements.
It should be noted that cross-border drug trafficking persists, despite the measures put in place at the border. However, the system is bearing fruit. Large quantities of kif introduced from Morocco are regularly seized by the various security services, says the Algerian newspaper.
