Moroccan Police Bust Major Drug Ring in Tétouan, Seize Heroin and Cocaine

The hunt against drug traffickers is maintained. The elements of the judicial police of Tétouan supported by the anti-drug brigade have carried out several operations that have resulted in success. They managed to arrest a 33-year-old individual who was the subject of an arrest warrant for trafficking in hard drugs within the framework of an organized and specialized criminal network, reports Al Akhbar.

Also, they proceeded to seize 262 grams of pure heroin and a quantity of cocaine ready to be sold as well as mobile phones and a vehicle, in addition to large sums of money. A 32-year-old woman was also arrested. She is suspected of complicity and illegal sexual relations with the accused.

The elements of the judicial police of Fnideq, for their part, arrested three individuals with criminal records involved in the trafficking of psychotropic drugs intended for medical use, the "karkoubi". The research and investigations carried out led to the seizure of 480 Rivotril tablets carefully hidden inside the vehicle of one of the suspects, a large sum of money, tear gas canisters, two machetes and mobile phones.
