Major Drug Bust in Morocco: 610kg of Hashish Seized, Four Arrested in Tan-Tan

Four individuals suspected of being linked to a criminal network were arrested on Tuesday by the judicial brigade elements of the city of Tan-Tan. This arrest was made on the basis of precise information provided by the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicates that "the searches carried out as part of this case resulted in the seizure of 19 packages of chira weighing a total of 610 kilograms, of bladed weapons, two tear gas bombs, in addition to a sum of money suspected of being the loot of this drug trafficking," reports the MAP.
According to the same source, the four suspects had already been the subject of a preliminary investigation in order to determine all the ins and outs of this case as well as the degree of involvement of each of the defendants.
The DGSN press release specifies that "this case is part of the ongoing security operations jointly carried out by the services of the National Security and the DGST to fight against drug and psychotropic drug trafficking crimes".
