Ajax Amsterdam Pursues Moroccan Star Bilal El Khannouss After World Cup Success

Moroccan international Bilal El Khannouss, who currently plays for Genk, could soon sign with Ajax Amsterdam, who have listed him as a priority. The Dutch club would have already made an offer to recruit him this winter.
Born in Belgium to Moroccan parents, the young attacking midfielder has chosen to represent Morocco instead of Belgium. His good performance at the 2022 World Cup with the Atlas Lions has put him in the spotlight and several European clubs, including Ajax Amsterdam, are already knocking on the door.
A starter in the third-place match of the competition, Morocco-Croatia, the Moroccan prodigy displayed all his talent in his position. He even received congratulations from national coach Walid Regragui.
The market value of the attacking midfielder is estimated at 4.5 million euros (50 million MAD), according to Transfermarkt. Tied to the Belgian pro league club Genk until June 2026, Bilal El Khannouss is on the radar of Ajax Amsterdam who would be "ready" to offer 20 million euros (223 million dirhams) in transfer fees, according to several sports media.
