Rising Star Bilal El Khannouss Attracts European Club Interest After World Cup Debut

Moroccan international Bilal El Khannouss seems to have benefited from his participation in the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Player of Racing Genk, his performances after returning from Qatar have not escaped some major European clubs, who are closely following him.
Even though Bilal El Khannouss was only lined up for the third-place match, in the match that pitted Morocco against Croatia, he managed to attract attention. And even more interestingly, he learned by watching his teammates play.
"Since the World Cup, I have to admit that my life has changed a bit. A World Cup is not just anything, it’s the biggest event in the world. I’m very proud to have participated in it and to have been able to play a match," the player told Het Laatste Nieuws.
He says he is focused on his goals, the most urgent of which is to work harder to make a name for himself. "It’s my agents who are looking at what’s best for me. As for me, I’m focusing on Genk and I just want to play football and have fun. Having fun is the goal of football and that’s the case here at Genk," he stressed.
