Rising Moroccan Star El Khannouss Attracts Interest from Serie A Giants and Man City

Moroccan international Bilal El Khannouss could leave the Jupiler Pro League for the Italian championship during the next transfer window. The young prodigy of the Atlas Lions is on the radar of two major Serie A clubs.
Bilal El Khannouss’ performances with Morocco and KRC Genk have caught the eye of Fiorentina, Sofyan Amrabat’s club, and Napoli, currently leaders of the Serie A standings. The first club even sent an emissary to follow the player’s exploits during the friendly match against Brazil on March 25 in Tangier, which ended in a victory for the Atlas Lions (2-1).
At 18 years old, Bilal El Khannouss is also being followed by several English clubs, including Manchester City, which has expressed interest in the player’s profile. But is the attacking midfielder ready to leave KRC Genk, with whom he extended his contract less than a year ago? In a recent interview with RTBF, he had stated that Genk was what he needed.
He is a versatile player destined for a great career. He already has a good track record with Morocco at the World Cup, two distinctions in club, including the 2022 Hope of the Year award and that of the best debutant in the Jupiler Pro League.
