Agadir Tourism Surge: Moroccan Visitors Outpace Foreign Tourists in July

Moroccan tourists continue to be the driving force of tourists in Agadir. The pearl of the South has indeed welcomed 62,583 tourists from Morocco, far from foreign tourists.
The number of Moroccan tourists arriving in classified hotels, clubs and tourist residences in Agadir, during the month of July 2019, increased by 10.43% compared to the number recorded during the year 2018, according to data published by the Regional Tourism Council of Agadir Souss-Massa.
French tourists come in second place with 18,124 arrivals compared to 14,536 during July 2018.
The classified tourist establishments in Agadir recorded 130,569 arrivals of different nationalities during the month of July, compared to 127,240 in 2018, an increase of 2.62%, according to the Council’s statistics.
