Agadir Tourism Soars: French Visitors Lead Record-Breaking Hotel Stays

The first seven months of the year have been beneficial for Agadir in terms of tourism. According to data from the Regional Tourism Council of Agadir-Souss-Massa, the number of overnight stays in classified tourist establishments in Agadir increased by 3.98% compared to 2018.
2,986,557 overnight stays in hotels, residences and clubs, during this period. French tourists are at the top of the list, with a total of 682,863 overnight stays, which corresponds, according to Lavieeco which provides the information, to an increase of 12.10%, compared to the previous year when this number was 609,181 overnight stays.
Domestic tourists come in second place. They come from the different cities of the Kingdom with 593,469 overnight stays at the end of July last year, compared to only 506,294 overnight stays during the same period in 2018, an increase of 17.22%.
German tourists come next with a total of 523,530 overnight stays, while visitors from England occupy the fourth place with 434,462 tourist overnight stays.
In short, Agadir has not been idle at all and can rub its hands at having achieved a beautiful tourist season.
