Long awaited by the inhabitants of the city of Agadir, the first cable car line will finally be inaugurated this July, according to the local authorities.

Part of the international camping tourist project "Souss Camp", the first cable car line in Agadir which will connect the Tildi bridge to the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella over a distance of 1700 meters, is equipped with 30 cabins including four VIP. Built by Doppelmayr, these cabins are of the latest generation to ensure comfort and ease for passengers.

According to the Austrian giant of cable transport, the Agadir cable car is built to transport 1,000 people per hour and generate 1,000 direct jobs. It is also intended to host an "Dania Land" amusement park. A second cable car line with fewer cabins than the first (18) is planned.
