Agadir’s New Cable Car Undergoes Final Tests Before July Launch

The Agadir cable car project is on the right track with a scheduled launch for July. In the meantime, the municipal authorities are carrying out the usual tests and checks on the system.
With a linear distance of 1,700 m, this line should connect the Tildi bridge to the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella in 6 minutes. It should be operational during the next summer season. To this end, the city council has announced the launch of the control and testing phase, reports Medias 24.
Realized by Doppelmayr, a specialist in cable transport, the Agadir cable car is equipped with D-line technology which guarantees optimal comfort for passengers and simple and fast maintenance, it is pointed out.
It should be recalled that this cable car project is one of the two components of the "Sous Camp" international camping project launched in 2019 and which will host an "Dania Land" amusement park, presented in 2016 under the name "Agadir Land".
