Agadir Community Thwarts Attempted Abduction of 11-Year-Old Girl

The residents of the Zaouiya neighborhood, located in the Aourir area of Agadir, foiled an attempted kidnapping of an 11-year-old girl. The suspects are two second-hand clothing and other used item vendors.
The incident took place on Saturday, February 26 in the Zaouiya neighborhood, located in the Aourir area of Agadir. While she was playing not far from her home, an 11-year-old girl was spotted by two second-hand clothing and other used item vendors who were in their vehicle, reports Assabah. The latter managed to get the minor into the car. Her aunt, who was observing the scene, cried for help. The neighbors and residents of the neighborhood quickly mobilized, and were able to surround, immobilize and neutralize the two suspects.
Informed, the local authorities arrived on the scene. The two merchants were arrested and taken to the royal gendarmerie brigade of Aourir. Pending the determination of their involvement in other cases or connections with other people, the two accused have been taken into custody.
