Marrakech Police Rescue Two Kidnapped Minors, Arrest Suspects for Rape and Abduction

It was at the beginning of the week that the case of the disappearance of the two underage girls broke out in Marrakech. Alerted, the elements of the judicial police of the fifth police district quickly launched investigations that led them, in record time, to the arrest of the two accused who had kidnapped, sequestered and raped two young girls in an abandoned villa on Boulevard Kmassa. Placed in custody, the two defendants will be brought before the competent prosecutor’s office after the end of the investigation, reports the daily Al Akhbar.

It all started with the complaint filed by the mother of one of the victims to report the mysterious disappearance of her underage daughter. The investigations made it possible to locate the suspect in an abandoned villa. Arrested on the spot, he was placed in custody, and the victim was taken to the hospital to undergo medical examinations which revealed that she was pregnant. The second suspect was also arrested while he was sequestering the second underage girl.

The two accused, who were in a romantic relationship with the two victims, will be prosecuted for criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, sequestration and rape of minors.
