Saudi Clubs Renew Interest in Moroccan Star Hakim Ziyech Amid Galatasaray Struggles
Hakim Ziyech continues to attract the interest of clubs in Saudi Arabia. After declining a lucrative offer from Al Shabab during the last winter transfer window, the Moroccan striker from Galatasaray could join the Saudi championship this summer.
Ziyech had received an attractive offer from Al Shabab during the last winter transfer window. The Saudi club was willing to sign the Atlas Lion for two and a half years and pay him an annual salary of 37.5 million euros. But the Moroccan international declined this offer, preferring to continue his career in Europe.
Due to repeated injuries, Ziyech has not shone this season at Galatasaray. The Turkish club, not satisfied with the Moroccan striker’s performances, is seriously considering putting him on the transfer market this summer. Several clubs in Saudi Arabia have already expressed interest in the 31-year-old player.
Will the Atlas Lion succumb to the lucrative offers from the Saudi clubs and relaunch his career in the Gulf, or choose to continue his adventure in Europe? The Moroccan is on the radar of his former club, Ajax Amsterdam, which has expressed its intention to secure his services.
