Saudi Clubs Target Moroccan Stars Ziyech and Hakimi with Lucrative Offers

The Atlas Lions Hakim Ziyech of Turkish club Galatasaray and Achraf Hakimi would be in the sights of several Saudi clubs. A very lucrative contract awaits them in Saudi Arabia.
After recruiting global stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Riyad Mahrez, Neymar, Yassine Bounou, and others, Saudi Arabia is trying to transfer Hakim Ziyech and Achraf Hakimi. In a statement to the Saudi newspaper Al Riyadiya, Jawad El Yamiq, a Moroccan defender of the Saudi team Al-Wahda, mentioned the possibility of recruiting his two compatriots in Saudi Arabia in the near future. According to him, certain clubs wish to recruit them for a considerable sum. They also have their sights set on the Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, the star of Liverpool.
Three Saudi clubs would have in the meantime wished to acquire Ziyech’s services. In February, Al-Shabab would have offered the Atlas Lion a huge contract worth a total of 37.5 million euros over two and a half years for him to join its squad. This is not the first time this club has shown interest in the Moroccan international. It tried to recruit him during the summer 2023 transfer window, but the transfer did not materialize due to an alleged failed medical examination.
