Ziyech Shines in Galatasaray Debut, Assists in 4-2 Victory

Hakim Ziyech made an impression in his first match under the Galatasaray jersey against Samsunspor, as part of the 4th round of the Turkish championship.
Hakim Ziyech is already starting to find his bearings with Galatasaray, in Turkey. He made his big debut in his new colors for the match against Samsunspor (4-2 win), in the Super Lig, on Saturday. The Moroccan international came on in the second half and already made his mark. The 30-year-old player provided an assist for Mauro Icardi on the hosts’ last goal, in the 67th minute. He even celebrated and dedicated this goal to the victims of the earthquake in Morocco.
Ziyech joined Galatasaray, the reigning Turkish champions, on August 19 on loan with a purchase option. A signing that put an end to his misadventure at Chelsea. He will earn a net salary of 3,587,500 euros for the 2023-2024 season.
