Galatasaray Stands by Ziyech Despite Injuries, Offers Moroccan Star Second Chance
After a flying start, the Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech no longer meets Galatasaray’s expectations. Consequences of his injuries that kept him away from the pitch for a few weeks. However, the Turkish club intends to give him a second chance.
Galatasaray really has no intention of letting Hakim Ziyech go. The club is giving him a second chance to convince them to keep him before deciding on his future: whether or not to activate the purchase option in his contract with Chelsea. After the match against Kasimpasa (3-4) in the 30th week of the Super Lig, during which he provided an assist, the club’s vice-president, Erden Timor, had met him and asked him not to rush to discuss offers from clubs in the Gulf and the Netherlands, and to wait for a meeting with the officials to make a decision.

Ziyech joined Galatasaray, the reigning champions of Turkey, on August 19 on loan with a purchase option. A signing that put an end to his misadventure at Chelsea. The former Ajax star has scored four goals and provided three assists in 16 matches played.
