Aubameyang Mocks Chelsea as Ziyech Completes Galatasaray Move

After several unsuccessful attempts, Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech finally managed to leave Stamford Bridge to join the Turkish club Galatasaray. Happy with his departure, his former teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who also left Chelsea to play for Marseille, did not hesitate to mock the London club.
On Instagram, Gabonese Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang congratulated his former teammate Hakim Ziyech on his successful transfer to Galatasaray. "All the best to you my friend. Free Ziyech," he wrote in a story, followed by a series of emojis including a laughing face and a heart. A way for him to subtly attack his former club, which he blames for having long humiliated the Moroccan international.
In January, the transfer of the Atlas Lion to PSG had failed at the last minute due to the delay in Chelsea’s transmission of the administrative files necessary for the homologation of his contract. Six months later, the club’s project to sell the Moroccan attacking midfielder to Al-Nassr failed due to a financial disagreement. Recently, the 30-year-old player did not receive a number within the London club after being excluded from the pre-season tour in the United States.
On Saturday, Ziyech was presented to the supporters after Galatasaray’s 2-0 win over Trabzonspor. He could be lined up for the club’s next Champions League playoff match against Molde, scheduled for Wednesday. The Moroccan international will earn a net salary of 3,587,500 euros for the 2023-2024 season.
