Young Adults Rush to Get Vaccinated for Summer Travel to Morocco and Beyond
In Quimper (Finistère), young people are receiving last-minute doses in order to spend the summer vacation in Morocco, Corsica or elsewhere. The Covid-19 vaccination campaign is being expanded to all adults over 18 from May 31st.
Many young people are rushing to vaccination centers to receive last-minute doses offered to everyone since May 12th, or to make an appointment. The vaccination campaign is taking into account adults over 18 from May 31st. "I have dual nationality, so I would like to be able to go see my family in Morocco if the borders reopen, and not worry about being stuck with a health pass," said Leila, a 26-year-old from Quimper, to France Bleu. She is one of the young people who went to the Dan ar Braz vaccination center over the Pentecost weekend.
Alexandra, on the other hand, is considering going to Corsica in August and dreads the PCR test. "If we can try to avoid that moment, it’s rather good. For this destination, you have to show your credentials, but I don’t know yet at what level, so I thought about the vaccine, especially since it seems important to me to protect myself and others, to be more serene," says the forty-year-old.
