Lamine Yamal is now the youngest player to play in a Clásico. At 16 years and 107 days, the Moroccan prodigy of Barça played his first official match against Real Madrid (1-2) on Saturday.
Yamal came on as a substitute in the 77th minute, replacing Joao Félix. At 16 years and 107 days, he becomes the youngest player in history to play in a Barça-Real Madrid match, breaking the record of Alfonso Albéniz who had played his first Clásico in 1902 at the age of 16 years and 132 days, and that of Vicenç Martínez who made his debut in a Clásico on October 19, 1941 at the age of 16 years and 278 days, reports Mundo Deportivo.
