5-Year-Old Girl Mauled by Pack of Stray Dogs in Ouarzazate, Morocco

A five-year-old child lived a nightmare on the morning of Sunday, August 4, 2019. 7 extremely aggressive stray dogs attacked her on her way to the neighborhood store, resulting in deep wounds and injuries to different parts of her body.
On the morning of Sunday, August 4, 2019, as she was going to do some shopping at the neighborhood grocer, a five-year-old girl was surprised by the attacks of 7 dogs. She was the victim of several bites, resulting in serious injuries.
Saved from their jaws, thanks to the intervention of a group of young boys, the little girl was rushed to the hospital in the city of Ouarzazate, where she was able to receive the necessary care, although she still bears psychological scars from the trauma.
According to the victim’s parents, the city has long been plagued by a large influx of stray dogs that threaten the lives of residents and disrupt their peace. However, no initiative to gather or exterminate them is being implemented by the Municipal Council.
