Stray Dog Attacks Surge in Moroccan City of Mohammedia, Residents Demand Action

In Mohammedia, attacks by stray dogs are increasing more and more. Faced with this permanent danger, the inhabitants of the city no longer know which way to turn.
A horde of dogs that swarm the city, posing a serious threat to the inhabitants. This is the phenomenon that Mohammedia is subjected to on a daily basis. The fact is all the more worrying, especially when one knows that the number of these dogs is only increasing, with attacks on all sides, observes Barlamane.
This worrying situation fuels debates on social networks. The populations who point out the dangers linked to the bites of these canines, call on the competent authorities even more to find solutions to appease their fears. According to Internet users, children and people who cannot defend themselves are the most exposed to attacks by these stray dogs. They claim that "beyond this risk, stray dogs represent a danger to public health as they carry serious diseases such as rabies".
The alarming proliferation of the number of these dogs, out of control, constitutes a problem of hygiene and security in the city, known for its calm. More than once, the populations admit to having seized, without success, the Municipal Council, chaired by Iman Sabir, for the resolution of this security crisis.
