22-Year-Old Arrested in Tangier After Violent Confrontation with Police and Father

Following a complaint filed against him by his father for violence, a police patrol had intervened to arrest the young man, aged 22, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN). The defendant violently resisted, threatening the elements of the patrol with two knives.

Faced with this threat, the inspector brandished his service weapon to neutralize the danger without using it, the same statement specifies.

Arrested, the suspect was placed in police custody for the investigation in order to elucidate the ins and outs of this case and determine all the criminal acts attributed to him.
