Morocco and Pakistan Launch Joint Special Forces Exercise to Combat Terrorism

Units of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) of Morocco and the Pakistani army began on Monday, at the Special Operations School in Cherat (northwest Pakistan), a joint military exercise. The objective is to strengthen their capabilities in unconventional warfare and counter-terrorism.
The special forces of Morocco’s FAR and the Special Services Group (SSG) of the Pakistani army are participating in this third edition of these military maneuvers, according to a statement from the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the press service of the Pakistani armed forces.
This exercise is part of the strengthening of military cooperation between the two countries. It aims to allow Moroccan and Pakistani special forces to refine their techniques in the art of conventional warfare and counter-terrorism. It also demonstrates the willingness of both countries to develop military cooperation based on mutual understanding and trust.
These maneuvers offer participants the opportunity to share their experiences and improve their coordination. They reflect the commitment of Moroccan and Pakistani authorities to provide a concerted response to current security challenges.
