Wydad Ultras Threaten Protests Over Stadium Delays and Club Impact
Thursday 4 April 2019, by
The delay in the work on the Mohammed V complex and the consequences for the club are pointed out by the Winners (the Wydad ultras), in an official statement. Their anger is consuming them!
According to Le360: "The WAC fans point the finger at the city council and its "lack of follow-up", the company in charge of maintaining the stadium, which they accuse of "manipulating public opinion", and the ministry of "watching without reacting". They deplore the condition of Wydad, "the only Moroccan representative in the Champions League", forced to wander from stadium to stadium to play its matches."
For these Wydad ultras, Fouzi Lekjaa, the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), must "assume his responsibilities". They even accuse him of favoritism benefiting what they call "the other side".
And threats are made. We can read in the statement: "if the provocation continues, we will have to take to the streets and protest for a demand that we consider legitimate".
