FIFA Approves Morocco’s Recruitment of Celta Vigo Striker Jones El-Abdellaoui

It is now official: player Jones El-Abdellaoui has just changed his sporting nationality by joining the Moroccan team. He could have also joined the Norwegian team.
According to the updated FIFA file on players’ nationality changes, Jones El-Abdellaoui has officially and definitively joined the Moroccan team as his sporting nationality. He will now wear the jersey of the Atlas Lions.
Jones El-Abdellaoui, striker for the Spanish club Celta Vigo, is expected to make his debut with the Atlas Cubs during the next African Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Described as versatile, he can also make a difference as a center-forward. El-Abdellaoui made his mark at the Norwegian club Vålerenga before joining Celta Vigo.
According to Transfermarkt data, the player’s current value is 2.3 million euros.
