World Cup Trophy Tours Morocco on Global Journey Ahead of Qatar 2022

The trophy of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar arrived in Morocco on Saturday for a two-day stopover, before flying to Tunisia, the last stage of its journey on the African continent.
After Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon, it is now Morocco’s turn to host the trophy of the 2022 Qatar World Cup as part of an international tour in 51 countries. Football fans will have the opportunity to look closely or take a photo near the trophy, which will be exhibited in Casablanca this Sunday, September 11, 2022.
World champion David Trezeguet, who won the World Cup in 1998 with France and the European Football Championship in 2000, is part of the delegation. "It’s exceptional to bring this trophy here. I know Morocco well, which I have visited many times. The Moroccan people are passionate about football," he stressed.
"Morocco is an important country and the company has been present in the Kingdom for more than 75 years, in order to promote unique experiences through partnerships with FIFA," said Mehdi Alami, general manager of Coca-Cola Morocco.
At the end of its stay in Morocco, the trophy will conclude its journey on the continent in Tunisia on September 13 and 14.
