Morocco’s World Cup Dream: $42 Million Prize Awaits Tournament Winner

FIFA plans to distribute $440 million - $40 million more than in 2018 - to the teams participating in the 2022 Qatar World Cup. How much would Morocco currently in the round of 16 receive if it won the final?
Who will lift the precious trophy in Qatar and succeed France? Predictions are rife. Meanwhile, the premiums that the teams will receive are known. The winner will receive $42 million, compared to $38 million four years ago. The losing finalist will receive $30 million. The team that finishes third will receive $27 million. The team that reaches fourth place will leave Qatar with a premium of $25 million.

The teams (5 to 8) that reach the quarter-finals will each receive a premium of $17 million. The teams (9-16) that reach the round of 16 will each receive $13 million. Finally, the teams (17 to 32 places: group stage) will each be awarded $9 million. FIFA also plans to offer $1.5 million for preparation costs to each of the 32 teams qualified for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
