FIFA World Cup Prize Money: Morocco Eyes Potential $42 Million Payout as Dark Horse

The bonuses that FIFA will distribute to the teams that will shine at the 22nd edition of the Football World Cup are known. Morocco can be the "outsider to be taken seriously in Qatar" at this major sporting event.
Beautiful bonuses await the teams that will achieve good performances during the 2022 World Cup. The winning team will receive a check from FIFA for $42 million. The second finalist team will receive $30 million. The team that finishes third will receive $27 million. The team that reaches fourth place will leave with a bonus of $25 million.
The teams (5 to 8) that reach the quarter-finals will each be entitled to a bonus of $17 million. The teams (9-16) that reach the round of 16 will each receive $13 million. Finally, the teams (17 to 32 places: group stage) will each be awarded $9 million. It is also planned that all the teams qualified for the World Cup will each receive $1.5 million for preparation costs.

The 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar from November 20 to December 18. Morocco, who are ranked in Group F, will begin their sixth participation in the final phase of the 2022 World Cup on Wednesday, facing Croatia (finalist of the last edition), before crossing swords with Belgium (eliminated by the Blues in the semi-finals of the previous edition), and finally Canada (returning 36 years after their only participation in 1986) on the 3rd day.
