World Cup: French Women’s Team Eyes €80,000 Bonus for Quarterfinal Berth

France faces Morocco this Tuesday at the Coopers Stadium in Adelaide in the round of 16 of the women’s World Cup. What bonus will the Bleues receive in case of qualification for the quarter-finals?
After reaching the round of 16, each player on the French team will receive 53,400 euros from FIFA. In case of qualification for the quarter-finals, this bonus will increase to 80,000 euros. If France finishes fourth, each Bleue will receive 149,655 euros. The sum of 163,260 euros will be awarded to them if they win the third-place match. Each player on the French team will receive 244,890 euros in the event of a historic world title. A significant amount representing less than half of the bonus promised to coach Hervé Renard, which would be 600,000 euros.
