Morocco Faces France in Women’s World Cup Round of 16 Showdown

The Moroccan team is preparing to face the French team this Tuesday, August 8, in the round of 16 of the Women’s World Cup. The match, which will take place at the Hindmarsh Stadium in Adelaide, is crucial for the Moroccan players, whose coach Reynald Pedros says they will give everything to win and reach the quarter-finals.
Reynald Pedros, the French coach of the Lionesses of the Atlas, who orchestrated their historic qualification for the round of 16, is optimistic about their chances of qualification. "It will be a very difficult match, but if we have the same state of mind as today, we can hope to qualify and we will do everything to qualify. Nothing is written in advance and we have just written this page," he said.
The match against France is also marked by the duel between the former coach of the Atlas Lions, Hervé Renard, and his compatriot Pedros. The latter emphasizes the importance of knockout matches and acknowledges the strength of the French team, but he says that anything is possible and that his knowledge of the French team could be an advantage.
