Morocco’s French Coach Pedros Ready to Face Home Nation in World Cup Clash

On the eve of the round of 16 match between Morocco and France, the French coach of the Lionesses of the Atlas, Reynald Pedros, shared his feelings and determination.
His heart is Moroccan and he will have "no remorse and no scruples in beating" the French team, said Pedros, expressing his love for Morocco, a country he has discovered and where he has been very happy for three years.
For the coach, the enthusiasm and euphoria that accompany this meeting are unique in sport. The match is all the more special as he is French and his staff is also French, emphasizing the importance of preparation and tactics. Morocco must be "very compact, very aggressive, very attentive and very efficient" to have a chance against the French, he said.
The coach also mentioned the reunion with the players of Olympique Lyonnais he has coached, such as Wendie Renard or Eugénie Le Sommer, describing this meeting as a "wink of fate" and although he takes great pleasure in seeing them at this level, he also stated that he would be very happy to eliminate them.
To carry out his mission with the Lionesses of the Atlas, he had to make the Moroccan players understand that they were capable of it, and that the work done so far puts them on the right track.
