Morocco’s World Cup Journey Ends: Coach Pedros Proud Despite 4-0 Loss to France

The coach of the Moroccan women’s national team, Reynald Pedros, was positive and grateful to his players, despite the 4-0 defeat of his team against France.
"Very happy" with the team’s journey, highlighting the feat of having reached the second round: "We must recognize the effort and merit of these players. Today, we are proud of what we have accomplished at the World Cup," he said.
Despite the defeat against the French team, Pedros put into perspective the lack of experience of his team against a more efficient opponent. "I am not disappointed by this defeat. The French team has more experience. The only way to face them was to play with intensity, which we did not do. We made catastrophic mistakes that cost us dearly in the first half," he specified.
Regarding the future of the team, Pedros is optimistic. "We now need to continue working. The qualifications for the Olympic Games await us. I am very proud to be the coach of the Moroccan national team."
