Two Workers Killed in Accident at Rabat Railway Station Construction Site

Two workers died on Thursday, September 26, on a construction site of the National Railway Office (ONCF) in Rabat-Ville.
In a press release, the National Railway Office (ONCF) recounts the circumstances of this tragic accident.
"In the afternoon of Thursday, September 26, a sad construction site accident occurred in the storage area of the construction site of the new Rabat-Ville station, located outside the station, during a maneuver of three handlers from the supplier’s company at the time of the opening of a heavy crate containing glass panels that caused the injury of two workers," the ONCF said.
According to the Office, the rapid arrival of the emergency services and their transport to the hospital could not save the two victims. They unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.
"On this sad occasion, the ONCF presents its deepest condolences to the families of the victims," the statement concluded.
