Moroccan Woman Helps Save Window Washers Trapped on UAE Skyscraper During Storm
Following a severe storm, the scaffolding of two window washers remained suspended on a tower in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. They narrowly escaped death thanks to two brave young women.
According to the local newspaper Albayane, an emergency call was received by the Ajman Civil Defense Center regarding two workers trapped in their scaffolding in the middle of a skyscraper, located on the city’s corniche. Intervention was necessary to rescue the two men from this difficult situation.
From the window of their 9th floor apartment, the two women, a Moroccan and a Greek, managed to grab the cable and secure it firmly, while waiting for the arrival of the rescue services.
The two workers were rescued by the Civil Defense services, while the two women were taken to the hospital to receive the necessary care for their minor injuries.
The heroic gesture of the two young women was widely praised by the Ajman Civil Defense, especially since the pressure on the scaffolding cables was very strong, the newspaper reported.
